cvforge mirrors 157 endpoints of
Financial Modeling Prep (FMP)
data under a single proxy path. Everything FMP publishes on these endpoints —
financial statements, company profiles, analyst estimates, SEC filings, insider and
congressional trades, institutional ownership, calendars, news, technical indicators,
and economic data — is available on every cvforge plan, with no FMP
account or API key of your own.
Requests count against your plan’s hourly request limit.
Responses pass through from FMP unmodified, so FMP’s field names and shapes apply verbatim.
How to call FMP endpoints
Every endpoint on the category pages shows all three forms. The pattern:
cvApi (in-app)
const data = await cvApi.call('/fmp/stable/profile', { symbol: 'AAPL' });
In an app (built in cvforge): cvApi.call('/fmp/stable/<endpoint>', params) — POST with the query parameters as the JSON body. See the cvApi reference.
REST: GET https://tap.convexvalue.com/api/data/fmp/stable/<endpoint>?<params> with your API key as a Bearer token, or POST with a JSON body. See the REST API reference.
MCP (coding agents): the fmp_request tool; use list_fmp_endpoints to discover paths at design time. See the MCP reference.
