Settings & shell

Agents tab

  • One row per supported agent showing install status and resolved path.
  • Set path… / Change… — manually locate a CLI that isn’t on your PATH; Clear removes the override.
  • Rescan — re-detect after installing something.
  • Help — per-agent install guide (npm commands, docs links; Windows also gets paste-ready Claude Code install commands).

General tab

  • Account — your email; a one-click Account portal link that signs your browser in securely (a single-use handoff token — your session never rides in a URL); a username editor (lowercase letters, numbers, underscores) used for gallery attribution; and sign out.
  • Updates — automatic updates on/off, plus Check now. Updates come from the official download CDN; a banner appears when a restart will apply one.
  • Privacy — a usage-telemetry toggle. Turn it off and the app stops sending usage analytics.
  • Support — the support email, one click away.

The shell workspace

Shell (from the dashboard header) opens a standalone terminal window rooted at your apps directory — useful for git spelunking, file wrangling, or running an agent CLI outside any particular app.

  • Profile tabs — a plain shell, plus a tab per detected agent that launches that CLI directly.
  • Agent panel — per-agent status with Check / Rescan / Locate, and Run doctor for Claude Code.

Where things live

  • Apps — each app is a folder (with its index.html and git history) in cvforge’s apps directory on your machine.
  • Credentials — your session token and data API key are stored in the OS keychain, not in files.
  • Per-app state — the chosen agent, AI model, and session pointers are remembered per app.
