How to read it
This is a different use of the tool: the prompt is a quoted headline, and the build exists to test it. Both halves of the claim are checkable — the growth rate against the year-ago quarter, and “beating expectations” against the consensus estimate that stood before the print.
The pattern generalises to almost any number you read. Pasting the sentence and asking for the dashboard that verifies it is faster than working out which statement line you need.
Change it
The prompt is the interface. Ask for a different ticker, a different expiration window, or an extra column in the same sentence style and the agent edits the app in place — you do not start over, and you do not wait for anyone to build it.
Limitations
- Fundamentals arrive on the provider’s schedule, so the most recent quarter can lag the company’s own release.
- Restatements and reclassifications are not always reflected retroactively in a single series.
- Filing-derived data such as insider or institutional activity is reported with a statutory delay.
