SNDK financials as a sankey: revenue through to net income

Recorded in cvforge on July 5, 2026 by ConvexValue · Published July 25, 2026

Sandisk’s latest quarter drawn as a flow diagram — revenue in, each cost taking its slice, income out — so the shape of the P&L is the shape of the chart.

How to read it

A sankey suits an income statement better than a bar chart because an income statement really is a flow: one quantity entering and being progressively reduced. Band width is proportional to money, so the largest cost is the widest band and you find it without reading a single number.

The construction is opinionated by necessity. Which lines get their own band and which are grouped is a choice the build makes, so two sankeys of the same company can look different while both being correct. Read the bands you care about and check them against the statement.

Change it

The prompt is the interface. Ask for a different ticker, a different expiration window, or an extra column in the same sentence style and the agent edits the app in place — you do not start over, and you do not wait for anyone to build it.

Limitations

  • Fundamentals arrive on the provider’s schedule, so the most recent quarter can lag the company’s own release.
  • Restatements and reclassifications are not always reflected retroactively in a single series.
  • Filing-derived data such as insider or institutional activity is reported with a statutory delay.
