How to read it

Overlaying ratings on price answers the question people rarely check: did the consensus lead the move or follow it? Upgrades clustering after a run and downgrades after a fall is the common pattern, and seeing it on one chart is more informative than any single rating.

Ratings are also a coarse series — a handful of discrete levels, updated irregularly, with different houses meaning different things by the same word. Read the timing of changes, not the average level.

Change it

The prompt is the interface. Ask for a different ticker, a different expiration window, or an extra column in the same sentence style and the agent edits the app in place — you do not start over, and you do not wait for anyone to build it.

Limitations

  • Fundamentals arrive on the provider’s schedule, so the most recent quarter can lag the company’s own release.
  • Restatements and reclassifications are not always reflected retroactively in a single series.
  • Filing-derived data such as insider or institutional activity is reported with a statutory delay.
